[glow=redorange,2,300]Bravenet: Past, Present and Future Once upon a time on an island far, far away....[/glow]
It all started back in 1997. Dave and Brad, founders of Bravenet, shared a vision of creating interactive, fully customizable, remotely hosted tools for website developers.
The goal was to build services that were easy to use yet professional and feature-rich - tools that webmasters of any skill level could implement. After much planning and finger-crossing, Brad and Dave went online with a single server and a handful of services.
These first tools (our Hit Counter, Forum and Guestbook) proved to be tremendously successful and Bravenet.com, coined from "Brad and Dave on the 'Net", was born. Since then, Bravenet has grown to include a phenomenal group of dedicated people, creating and maintaining more than 20 webmaster tools and services.
Bravenet's current staff of 30 designers, programmers and marketers are continually developing exciting new services and upgrading our existing tools as new technologies emerge. We realize the Web is continually changing, and Bravenet continues to change along with it.
With top-notch customer service and a firm commitment to providing high quality, easy-to-use services for its members, Bravenet is now the largest provider of both free and professional webmaster services in the world.
In fact, Bravenet is currently ranked among the top 50 visited websites worldwide. Today, more than 4 million registered members enjoy Bravenet services, and over 20 million unique visitors access a Bravenet product each and every month.
Six years after its launch, the future for Bravenet looks brighter than ever. More great tools and exciting services are planned to ensure Bravenet.com remains the premier source for webmaster information and products on the Internet.
A large part of our success has come from listening to our own members' comments. Bravenet's support staff are always happy to hear about new feature requests and service ideas, so please keep up the good work.
Stay tuned, the best is yet to come!
Sincerely,
Dave and Brad
