How reliable is the information on this site? NoodleBib is based on the guidelines presented in the APA Publication Manual (5th ed.) and the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (Gibaldi, 6th ed.). Citations generated by the tool should match the syntax presented in these books. NoodleQuest is based on Debbie's award-winning Web page, "Choose the Best Search for Your Information Need" (now available on the NoodleTools site as part of NoodleTeach). Selection of a search strategy in NoodleQuest is performed using a non-biased matching algorithm developed by Damon Abilock. NoodleLinks is a collection of source lists generated by users of NoodleBib. The criteria for inclusion in the NoodleLinks database are (a) potential usefulness to other researchers and (b) basic quality/correctness. Since "potential usefulness" is weighed more heavily than "correctness" when we determine whether or not to accept a source list into the collection, source lists may have errors. Thus, users of NoodleLinks should not necessarily view or copy them as examples of "correct bibliographical form." www.noodletools.com
